    The Brief

    Having not been able to gather colleagues and celebrate their achievements in 2020, we want to make 2021 a really spectacular and special evening to acknowledge how hard our staff have worked. Guests travelling from 4 different UK offices so travel logistics and overnight accommodation are required.

    The Venue

    National Maritime Museum

    The Blanc Management team cover all elements of event planning and production so our first task was venue finding; we proposed a number of London-based venues taking into account both venue capacity, perceived ‘unique-ness’ and venues with suitable hotel space nearby.

    National Maritime Museum fit the bill perfectly, with fascinating lower-level galleries which we utilised for the welcome drinks reception, plus a stunning wide glass atrium space upstairs for a truly special dinner space.

    Celebrations are made easy.

    Blanc Management understood the importance of making the guests feel special and brought this brief to life with a tailored mix of company branding and creative design. Using part of the client’s logo custom-cut and mounted on tall, illuminated pixel table centres, also lit in company colours, plus grand scale letter installed over 9m high drapes to frame the whole dining space.

    As international travel has been ultimately curtailed due to the pandemic, we decided to ‘bring the world to you’ through inventive and delicious international catering. We devised a menu with smaller portions from eight market stall-style outlets, to ensure each and every guest was able to sample the distinctive and exciting tastes on offer.

    Whilst a lot of gala dinner-style events begin with a glass of fizz as standard, we felt providing a wider selection would help kick off the night better. This allowed every guest to have what they wanted, be it a cocktail a bottle of local London beer or of course a glass of fizz for those who prefer it!

    Blanc Management negotiated the best group rates at nearby hotels and coordinated coaches to transport every guest to the venue in warmth and comfort, which is particularly important for a December event with unpredictable British weather!
